The Town of Fergus is just north of the City of Guelph on Hwy. 6, which runs north from Port Dover on Lake Erie, through Hamilton and Owen Sound, to Tobermory.

For the scenic route from Toronto and East, follow Hwy. 401 to the cutoff at Hwy. 25 at Milton. Head north, straight through the Town of Acton, to Hwy. 24. Turn left on Hwy. 24 and travel about 2 km to County Road 26. Turn right (north again) on County Road 26, 10 km until you reach the next full stop (a flashing light). A left turn here will now take you directly to Fergus.

If you want the more direct route and for people coming from Windsor, Buffalo and West, take Hwy. 401 to Hwy. 6, the Guelph bypass. Keep going north through several traffic lights until the bypass ends at Hwy. 7. Turn right on Hwy. 7 and the continuation of Hwy. 6 and travel approximately 2 km. A left turn (following Hwy. 6) will take you right into downtown Fergus.

The scenic route is no farther and much more relaxing!
